Do you want to be a "Daisy" Saint?

"Developing a plan for growing in holiness will be more complete as we begin to generously exercise an apostolic Christian love. We must go "beyond our self," reaching out to others out of love for Christ. This active chartity expressed in an unselfish and generous love is the antidote to pornograpy and other sexually-expressed symptoms of selfishness." From, "Blessed are the Pure in Heart" Bishop Robert W. Finn, Bishop - KC/St. Joseph, MO

DEFINITION "All Christians in any state or walk of life are called to the fullness of Christian life and to the perfection of charity." (Lumen Gentium,40) The scriptures extols this, to: "Be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect" (Mt. 5:48). See the Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraphs 2012 through 2016.

Paragraph 2016:

"The children of our holy mother the Church rightly hope for the grace of final perseverance and the recompense of God their Father for the good works accomplished with his grace in communion with Jesus. Keeping the same rule of life, believers share the "blessed hope" of those whom the divine mercy gather into the "holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."

Holiness futher explained: CCC 826: Charity is the soul of the holiness to which all are called: it "governs, shapes, and perfects all the means of sanctification."

"If the Church was a body composed of different members, it couldn't lack the noblest of all; it must have a Heart, and a Heart BURNING WITH LOVE. And I realized that this love alone was the true motive force which enabled the other members of the Church to act; if it ceased to function, the Apostles would forget to preach the gospel, the Martyrs would refuse to shed their blood. LOVE, IN FACT, IS THE VOCATION WHICH INCLUDES ALL OTHERS; IT'S A UNIVERSE OF ITS OWN, COMPRISING ALL TIME AND SPACE - IT'S ETERNAL!"
