The use of the Monstrance image for evangelizing the Real Presence in an organized effort by singles, was inspired during Adoration time. The Singles of the Eucharist logo was created by Reardon Designs in Fairway Kansas. The logo is designed to bring forth wonderment, but to look like a logo. A recognizable image for the group. Singles of the Eucharist will use antique Holy Card images to further illustrate the great Mystery of Christ held in the Monstrance vessel.

The four square background colors are symbols of the four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. To explain this further, and interesting writing is found by St. Irenaeus' in "Against Heresies". He wrote that "The Gospels could not possibly be either more or less in number than they are. Since there are four zones of the world in which we live, and four principal winds, while the church is spread over all the earth, and the pillar and foundation of the Church is the gospel, and the Spirit of life, it fittingly has four pillars, everywhere breathing out incorruption and revivifying men."

"In addition, the cherubim have four faces, and their faces are images of the activity of the Son of God. For that first living creature, it says, was like a lion, signifying his active and princely and royal character; the second was like an ox, showing his sacrificial and priestly order; the third had the face of man, indicating very clearly his coming in human guise; and the fourth was like a flying eagel, making plain the giving of the Spirit who broods over the church. Now the Gospels, in which Christ is enthroned, are like these."

See Ezekiel, Chapter 1 and Revelation 4:7,8 as symbols of the Evangelists. Later the lion is assigned to St. Mark and the eagle to St. John.

Irenaeus' explains further, that "the gospel and the activity of the Lord is fourfold." "Four general covenants were given to mankind:

One was that of Noah's deluge, by the bow;
the second was Abrahams', by the sign of circumcision;
the third was the giving of the Law by Moses;
and the fourth is that of the Gospel, through our Lord Jesus Christ."

The slogan, "Honoring the Body and the Blood" comes from the respect that we must show the Blessed Sacrament when we come into Communion with Him whether it be during our participation at Mass or at Adoration. After entering into Communion with Him the activities of a single of the Eucharist outside of the liturgy must also “honor the Body and the Blood”.

"Honoring the Body and the Blood" should raise questions in the minds of persons who do not know what it means when the see the logo. This should raise questions from which we should be prepared to answer so we can evangelize the Real Presence.

It is the goal of the SoE Apostolate to help more people understand the love that God offers them through the Blessed Sacrament and win more hearts and souls for the Kingdom. In this way the single members of Christ's Body, can do a little something to glorify God. St. Terese of Lisieux said, "You don't have to do big things, only little things with great love."
